Five ways to Find Deeper Meaning in Healthcare

You say "What do I do? I’ve struggled with my weight and what to eat my whole life."

I’m scared! I don’t want to:

  • break a bone
  • have a heart attack
  • have brain fog
  • experience the effects of diabetes that my grandparents or parents had

I’m mad because I feel I caused this with not being responsible with my habits.

Through Our Work Together, You Will:

  • Eliminate frustration with a personalized nutrition & lifestyle plan that addresses the root of your health issues.
  • Cultivate an unsinkable success mindset to stay on track over the long haul.
  • Find joy in everyday movement that keeps weight off, reverses illness and makes you feel amazing.
  • Lower stress level and experience sleep that gives you energy for living your best life.
  • Free yourself from cravings so you can trust yourself with food and put an end to self-sabotage.

Hi, I’m Mary Gannon Kaufmann

RDN, LDN, MS, CDCES (Certified Diabetes Educator), Certified LEAP Therapist, Integrative/Functional Nutrition Training

Board Certified Healthcare Chaplain

Struggling to make healthy choices and follow through? Tired of tight pants and failed health attempts? Discover what you can do next.

With a family history rich in Type 2 Diabetes, weight struggles, and heart disease, my early life, notably moments with my diabetic Grandpa Carl, deeply influenced my interest in health and nutrition. This familial backdrop and personal experiences, including gestational diabetes during two pregnancies, fueled my dedication to understanding and combating these health issues.

My academic journey began with a BS in Food Technology at Iowa State University, where I gained insight into our food supply and processing. I deepened my expertise with a Master’s in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota, becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Recognizing the broader dimensions of health, I pursued Human Motivation and Spirituality, earning a Master’s in Theology from Loras College and achieving Board Certification in Healthcare Chaplaincy and Support. This comprehensive education foundation allows me to approach health holistically, blending scientific knowledge with a deep understanding of the human spirit and motivation.

Because health is more than knowledge, I studied Human Motivation and Spirituality with a Master’s in Theology from Loras College becoming Board Certified in Healthcare Chaplaincy.

Diabetes is not your fault
